As the coronavirus situation evolves, we want you to know that the safety of our homeowners and guests are of the utmost priority. We're working hard to do everything we can to address your concerns.
If you are looking for housing related to COVID-19 or to shelter in place in a vacation home, we have properties available at reduced rates through April 30th, 2021. Please call 800-777-4606 to speak with our reservations team to find the best option for you.
The Regional Stay Home Order (PDF), announced December 3, 2020, and a supplemental order, signed December 6, 2020, will go into effect at 11:59 PM the day after a region has been announced to have less than 15% ICU availability. The supplemental order clarifies retail operations and goes into effect immediately. They prohibit private gatherings of any size, close sector operations except for critical infrastructure and retail, and require 100% masking and physical distancing in all others.
Once triggered, these orders will remain in effect for at least 3 weeks. After that period, they will be lifted when a region’s projected ICU capacity meets or exceeds 15%. This will be assessed on a weekly basis after the initial 3 week period.
Learn more about these orders and find out what’s open in your area.
Vacation Rentals may honor out-of-state reservations for non-essential travel if the reservation is for at least the minimum time period required for quarantine and the persons identified in the reservation will quarantine in the property.
When the Regional Stay Home Order is in effect in a region, vacation rentals can offer accommodation for COVID-19 mitigation and containment measures, treatment measures, accommodation for essential workers, or providing housing solutions, including measures to protect homeless populations.
Additionally, the Travel Advisory remains in effect.
Cleaning Guidelines
We look forward to welcoming all guests back to the desert soon. As a member of the Vacation Rental Managers Association and Vacation Rentals Housekeeping Professionals, we are pleased to provide the following guidelines for all home rentals.
FACE COVERINGS REQUIRED IN PUBLIC Wearing a mask is required statewide. Various cities within the Coachella Valley also require face masks to be worn when in the public right of way or out front of stores. Wearing a mask or cloth face covering can slow the spread of COVID-19 by limiting the release of virus into the air. It also reinforces physical distancing, and shows you care about the health of others. Face coverings can include bandanas, neck gaiters, hand-sewn masks, scarves or other cloth covering the nose and mouth. Residents are discouraged from purchasing medical-grade masks.
