COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE - Vacation Rental & Emergency Housing Clarification
FACE COVERINGS REQUIRED IN PUBLIC
The county of Riverside recently voted 5-0 to rescind all emergency orders prohibiting vacation rentals. Cities in the Coachella Valley still have the following restrictions:

The City of Palm Springs has voted to require face coverings in public. Face coverings can include bandanas, neck gaiters, hand-sewn masks, scarves or other cloth covering the nose and mouth. Residents are discouraged from purchasing medical-grade masks.
ALL GATHERINGS PROHIBITED
Additionally, the order prohibits all public or private gatherings, regardless ofsize or location. Exceptions for essential businesses are outlined in the full order.

During this uncertain time, we would like to clarify guest questions related to upcoming reservations in light of the recent Coronavirus pandemic.
With this in mind, we have launched the following temporary updates to our cancellation policies.
Additionally we want you to know that we have taken precautionary measures to protect our guests, owners, employees, families, partners, and customers.

regarding COVID19 and my booking
If your reservation is coming up within the next 30 days, you are within our cancelation period. That being said, we have updated our cancelation policy to allow you to rebook your reservation up to a year of your original date.
How are you cleaning my vacation rental?
In an effort to promote healthy environments, we have advised all our cleaning staff to leave disinfecting cleaning wipes or spray on the counters for your use. Your cleaning fee covers a full sanitized clean between rentals, which includes all door handles and surfaces.
Can I legally travel to Palm Springs?
Please read the guidelines put forth by the county of riverside. The most recent update is that all short term rentals are anything less than 60 days. Essential workers and first responders in need of housing are exempt. Please contact our reservations department if you need clarification.
